Will I still be able to claim 100% Compensation even though my accident happened a while ago?
You have 3 years from the moment the accident occurred to have your personal injury solicitor’s take your compensation to court, bearing in mind that you are of the age of 18. If however you are younger then 18, the 3 year period will start from your 18th birthday onwards. Please note that age restriction differs in Scotland (16th birthday onwards)
Will I most likely be dismissed If I claim for an accident that happened at work?
If your employer dismisses you for making an accident claim it can be seen as an unfair dismissal, which is not ethical and can be seen as an unfair dismissal. All business owners are required to take out insurance cover for there employers. Therefore the insurance company will pay the compensation.
